Sajjad Hussain Palash known professionally as Palash is a Bangladeshi singer. In 2012, he won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the film Khodar Pore Ma.[1][2][3][4]
Biography
[edit]In the 1990s, Palash formed a band called Orbit. His first solo album was Premer Thikana. He has released 38 solo albums. In addition, he has also lent his voice to film songs. He has sung in more than 1,500 film songs.[5]
Palash’s album Bhool Korechi Bhalobese was released in 2002.[6] This album featured a song titled "Ma Tumi Amar Age Jeyo Nako More". Later, the song was used in the film Khodar Pore Ma. For this song, he won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer in 2012.[7]
