Rossana Cambron is a co-chairman of the Communist Party USA. She was elected into office in 2019 at the 31st National Convention of the Communist Party USA. She was formerly a special education teacher, and participated in the Grape Boycotts.[1]
Early years
[edit]Cambron was born in El Paso, Texas to first-generation American immigrants, but lived in Juárez until she was seven.[2] Her family then moved to Los Angeles, into government housing with other minorities.
Political positions
[edit]Immigration
[edit]Cambron believes that many Mexican Americans have been expatriated by the US government during the Great Depression and afterwards due to Anti-Mexican sentiment and a lack of welfare reaching the Mexicans.[2]
Cambron also believes in the term Latino to be a unifier for Latin Americans. [2]
