Submission declined on 25 June 2025 by Rambley (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Roberto Figueroa is an American author and independent publisher based in Miami, Florida. Writing under his own name and the pseudonym Bobby Reynolds, he is known for his work highlighting queer identity, immigration, love, and second chances.[1] His stories often blend heartfelt realism with social critique, using both English and Spanish to reach diverse audiences.
Figueroa's breakthrough came with Queer Card Quest, a novel following Angel, a young gay man from Latin America navigating undocumented life in Miami and entering a marriage of convenience to survive.[2] The Spanish edition, Gay-sidencia, reimagines the story with cultural nuance and comedic tone for a Latinx readership.[3]
His 2025 novel The Curse of Us tells a poetic fantasy story about a dominion angel in love with a human through multiple reincarnations. The book explores themes of fate, memory, and free will, showcasing Figueroa's growing literary ambition.[4]
Figueroa’s earlier works include Bobby Unleashed, a gay erotica novel about liberation and identity; Guifarro: The Time Travel Story, a speculative narrative dealing with second chances; and Marriage is Like a Theme Park, a lighthearted exploration of modern relationships.[5]
Outside of publishing, Figueroa is also a licensed community association manager, ordained minister, notary public, and producer for television and film.[6] His multidisciplinary background enriches his storytelling, while his active social media presence supports the promotion of diverse and inclusive stories.[7]
