RiskExec, Inc. is a cloud-based software platform that focuses on regulatory compliance for U.S.-based institutions. The company is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is majority owned by Vista Private Equity.
History
[edit]RiskExec was founded by Dr. Anurag Agarwal in 2001. Anurag began working on fair lending procedure automation while getting his PhD in Operations Research, Statistics, and Management Science from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Anurag co-founded Compliance Solutions in 2001, before founding Risk Management Solutions in 2006 and serving as its President and CEO until 2015. Risk Management Solutions was acquired by Asurity Technologies in 2015. In January 2025, RiskExec, as it was now known, became a standalone company through a transaction in which a majority ownership share was acquired by Vista Equity Partners.[1]
