Recalcitrance of Oneself
[edit]The Recalcitrance of Oneself or simply referred to as Recalcitrance is a philosophical book by François Louis Coronado (also referred to as F.L. Coronado, 2025), a Filipino author of philosophy, fiction, and academic literature.
It was self-published on November 15, 2025 online in various academic platforms namely Zenodo and Internet Archive. The work comprises of discourses and arguments spanning around philosophical fields such as metaphysics, skepticism, existentialism, ethics, and aesthetics. F.L. Coronado's main objective of publishing the work is simply to verify the medium of the masses to instill the presence of uncertainty in all.
Despite the conciseness of the work itself, Coronado's positional discourses justified its own with interconnectedness between all the contents of the work, which may seem to be a failed, but a complete treatise on all five fields he discussed. Yet it is indicated in the work that all the arguments weren't completely delivered yet, as it only serves as a prelude to a different work.
Various concepts were introduced in the work in the field of epistemological connection to philosophy. Concepts such as Transcendental Progress and Detrimental Transcendence were fully utilized to furnish Coronado's argument and implied in most of the content, although they were not subjected for proper disposition clearly within the work. It is also indicated that there will be a set of different treatises to fully discuss both concepts in their own natures.
Transcendental Progress
[edit]Transcendental Progress is a concept primarily introduced in Metaphysical Discourses specifically in the chapter "Origins of unexplainable, or undefined truthful concepts" which focuses on the argument that life on earth is incapable of reaching the level of celestial divine entities due to our own self-sabotage systemic methods of living as species with inferior collective worldviews and exacerbating mindsets.
Detrimental Transcendence
[edit]Detrimental Transcendence is a concept primarily introduced and thoroughly defended in Existential Discourses specifically in the chapter "Philosophical Living" which the author claims to be also referred to as "Practical Suicide"
