Draft:RapidCompute

  • Comment: Thank you for the changes but we need more changes unfortunately.
See WP:NCORP, then WP:SIRS on the same page, and finally the worked example of Acme Industries below that. We need good sources, and in depth, and independent of the company, which we do not have.
It looks like AI / chatgpt / LLM or similar was used here. The very first source goes to 404. So kindly also check and recheck the existing sources, but you will need more than this. ChrysGalley (talk) 10:33, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

RapidCompute, a division of Cyber Internet Services, is a Pakistan-based enterprise cloud computing services provider headquartered in Karachi. It is a subsidiary of the Lakson Group. The company was launched in 2012.[1]

RapidCompute offers an on-demand cloud computing platform to companies and government organizations on a pay-as-you-go basis.[1]

Services

[edit]

RapidCompute’s primary service offering is infrastructure as a service (IaaS), which includes virtualized compute and storage resources. In addition to IaaS, the company provides related managed services for enterprise workloads, including managed cloud environments, cloud migration support, cybersecurity and backup services, email and web hosting, and disaster recovery solutions. Its backup and cybersecurity offerings are provided in partnership with Acronis.

RapidCompute also operates a security-focused brand, Titanium[2], which provides security operations centre (SOC) services. Titanium’s SOC offering includes security information and event management (SIEM) services delivered via LogRhythm.

In 2020, RapidCompute formally launched cloud services aimed at the banking sector and financial institutions in Pakistan. The company has stated that its cloud platform complies with GDPR requirements and holds PCI DSS 3.2.1 certification. These compliance frameworks are implemented through a set of technical and organizational controls intended to support data security and customer data governance.[3][4]

Platform development

[edit]

In 2022, RapidCompute launched a new platform powered by OpenStack. With this launch, the company also introduced a new portal through which enterprise customers can deploy virtual compute and storage resources.[5]

In 2024, RapidCompute introduced a billing mechanism that allows customers to make card payments directly through the portal.[6]

Market presence

[edit]

RapidCompute operates multiple availability zones across Pakistan, located in Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar.[7]

These availability zones are connected through high-speed, low-latency network links, allowing systems to replicate data and distribute workloads across zones. This design enables applications to remain operational in the event of a failure affecting a single data centre or availability zone.
