Rabia Anum is a Pakistani news anchor and TV host. She worked for ARY News and Geo Network.[1] She is well-known for her unique style of introducing herself on the TV screen.[2][3]
Personal life
[edit]Anum married to Obaid in 2018. Obaid is a pilot in international airline.[4] The couple has two children.[5]
Career
[edit]Anum began her media career in 2011 as an intern at Aaj News. She later joined NewsOne, after some time she joined ARY News, and subsequently moved to Geo News, where she became a prominent news anchor, notably presenting the 9 pm prime-time news bulletin.[1]
She has reported on major national events, including Army Public School attack in Peshawar in 2014, where she was sent on assignment due to her fluency in Pashto.[6]
Rabia gained further recognition as the host of Ramzan transmission for Geo and Green Entertainment.[1]
