Production Paradise is an online platform based in Barcelona, Spain, founded in 2002.

The website is used as a global resource used by over 330,000 creatives worldwide, including leading ad agencies, brands and magazines to discover and connect with each other.

Membership is limited to approved professionals in the commercial photography and film industry.

Members include commercial photographers, production companies and services, studios, location scouts, directors and DOPs, photo agents, CGI and retouching companies, as well as other professionals involved in commercial photo or film production, such as props and fashion stylists, makeup artists, set designers, catering companies and others.

History

Production Paradise was started by Andreas von Estorff, a German entrepreneur with experience in digital media. .[1] He wanted to create a digital alternative to print directories like LeBook and Red Box, making it easier for creative professionals to be found globally.

Since then, the platform has grown to include thousands of members across photography, film, and production services and is used in over 180 countries.[2]

Notable Achievements

Spotlight Awards: Since its inception, the Spotlight Awards have recognised outstanding commercial photography talent across various categories. The 2024 edition, for instance, featured winners such as Lucila Blumencweig from Argentina, who received the Grand Prize for her work in the Advertising category and praise in online magazines.[6] [7]

The 2023 Grand Prize Winner was also published in the UK newspaper *The Times*.[8]
