Patrick Amofah is a Ghanaian horologist and entrepreneur, and the founder of Hourhand Watch Company and Warrior King Watches.[1][2][3]
Early Life and Education
[edit]Patrick Amofah was born and raised in Tema,Ghana. He attended Swedru Senior High School for his secondary education and later attended the Zenith University College in Accra, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems.[3]
Career
[edit]Amofah started the HourHand Watches Company in 2020, initially as an online store before opening a physical store in Greda Estate, Teshie. The company specializes in watch repair, restorations and hand-crafted leather straps. His workshop has service high-end time pieces, including a $600,000 Richard Mille McLaren.[2][4]
Through his subsidiary, Warrior King Watches, Amofah produces luxury watches that integrate culture, symbols, and Ghanaian history motifs. In 2023, Amofah presented a custom 18 karat gold timepiece to Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II , featuring the Denkyemkye emblem and Ghana's Independence Arch. [5][6][7]
