Draft:Parcel Perform

Parcel Perform

Parcel Perform is a Singapore-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that provides a delivery experience platform for e-commerce businesses.[1] The company was founded in 2016 by Arne Jeroschewski, a co-founder of the e-commerce company ZALORA, and Dana von der Heide, both of whom have backgrounds in logistics.[2][3]

Parcel Perform's platform integrates with logistics carriers to provide merchants and their customers with shipment tracking and data analytics.[4] According to industry publications, the company was established to address a perceived lack of data standardization in e-commerce logistics.[3]

In August 2021, the company announced it had raised $20 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Cambridge Capital, a US-based supply chain investor, and included participation from SoftBank Ventures Asia.[4] At the time of the funding, news outlets reported the company served clients such as Nespresso and had integrated with over 700 carriers. The stated purpose of the funding was for global expansion, particularly into North America and Europe.[5]

History

[edit]

Von der Heide had worked in global strategy for logistics firms.[3] In interviews, the co-founders stated their goal was to give e-commerce retailers more control over the post-purchase customer experience.[2]

In August 2021, Parcel Perform secured $20 million in Series A funding. The investment was led by Cambridge Capital and joined by SoftBank Ventures Asia, Wavemaker Partners, and Investible.[7]

Service

[edit]

Parcel Perform's platform is designed to standardize logistics data from multiple shipping carriers into a single dashboard. It provides e-commerce merchants with tools to offer customers a branded tracking page, send delivery notifications, and analyze carrier performance, with the use of Artificial Intelligence.[3][8] The platform also provides predictive features, including an estimated date of arrival for shipments.

Recognition

[edit]

In 2021, the company was recognized at the ORIGIN Innovation Awards in the supply chain and logistics category.[9]
