ODM Educational Group is a non-profit educational organization based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.[1] It was founded in 1989 by Satyabrata Minaketan and operates schools, a business school, and a vocational training center.[2]
History
[edit]ODM began as a local teaching initiative by Dr. Minaketan in 1989, focused on underserved communities in Bhubaneswar.[3][4][5] The first formal institution, ODM Public School, opened in 1990. Over time, the group expanded and was consolidated under the ODM Educational Group name in 2003. In 2009, the group launched a business school, originally named the Astral Institute of Management Studies, which was later renamed ODM Business School.[6][7]
Between 2022 and 2024, the group opened schools in Ranchi, Durgapur, Angul, and Gurugram. In 2025, it partnered with UK-based Cyber Square[6][1] and launched a learning app.[8]
