NOLA King is an upcoming American crime television series starring Samuel L. Jackson, a spinoff of crime drama series Tulsa King.
Plot
[edit]Russell Lee Washington Jr. returns to New Orleans after abandoning the city 40 years ago, to rekindle his relationship with his family, friends, and to take control of the city he left behind. [edit]On June 5, 2025, A spinoff of the Paramount+ series Tulsa King entitled NOLA King was announced with Dave Erickson showrunning and Samuel L. Jackson executive producing the series with Taylor Sheridan, Slyvester Stallone, Bob Yari, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, and David Hutkin through MTV Entertainment Studios & 101 Studios.[1] On July 11, 2025, Erickson left the show as the showrunner because of a conflict with Mayor of Kingstown and a search for a replacement.[2] On July 17, 2025, Paramount+ gave NOLA King a series order.[3]
