This device, connected via Bluetooth and offered at an affordable price of 20 euros, illustrates his philosophy that innovation should serve humanity.
The MIDAD project, entirely designed in Morocco, demonstrates the country's innovation capacity in health technology. According to Mouhsine Lakhdissi, the goal was to
be able to save even just one life!
[5].
Philosophy and vision
[edit]Innovation approach
[edit]Mouhsine Lakhdissi defines himself as an "architect" rather than a "doctor"[5], favoring a systemic and structural approach to innovation. His philosophy is based on the conviction that technology should serve to
transform existing resources into something useful for humanity: the fruits of the earth into a mode of transport, natural resources into energy, electrical currents into computing
[5].
This holistic vision leads him to be interested in interconnections between different fields and to develop solutions that transcend traditional boundaries between disciplines.
Philosophical and spiritual thought
[edit]Mouhsine Lakhdissi's reflection is enriched by a deep spiritual and philosophical dimension, drawing from Sufi tradition and universal wisdom. He notably cites Abu al-Abbas al-Sabti, patron saint of Marrakech, stating:
عن سيدي أبي العباس السبتي الوجود ينفعل بالجود
(According to Sidi Abu al-Abbas al-Sabti: existence is transformed by generosity), emphasizing the importance of generosity as a transformative force of the universe.
This spiritual approach influences his vision of technology and innovation, which he conceives as means to serve humanity and contribute to the common good.
Reflections on management and governance
[edit]Mouhsine Lakhdissi develops an original management philosophy, synthesized in this Arabic maxim:
أرقى درجات التسيير هي التيسير وأهم ما تطوره الإدارة هي الإرادة وأول شرط للريادة هو الدراية
(The highest degrees of management are facilitation, and what administration develops most importantly is will, and the first condition of leadership is knowledge).
This approach emphasizes facilitation rather than control, developing will rather than constraint, and knowledge as the foundation of authentic leadership.
Vision of artificial intelligence
[edit]His reflection on artificial intelligence is distinguished by a humanistic and ethical approach. He states:
Artificial intelligence is not intended to replace human intelligence but to reposition it
, emphasizing that AI should reposition and enhance human capabilities rather than supplant them. He also develops an ethical vision of AI:
Artificial intelligence before being generative must be regenerative and before being ingenious must be generous
, insisting on the need for AI to contribute to social and environmental regeneration and be guided by principles of generosity.
Philosophy of engineering
[edit]Mouhsine Lakhdissi proposes an etymological and philosophical redefinition of engineering. According to him:
The word engineering does not come from genius but from healing engine (it must be combative for its nation, its relatives and its community)
. This vision transforms the engineer into a social healer, whose mission is to heal society's ills. He completes this reflection by stating:
Engineering should be more linked to generosity than to genius
, favoring human and altruistic values over simple technical excellence.
Reflections on change and permanence
[edit]Faced with the rapid transformations of our era, Mouhsine Lakhdissi develops a philosophy of permanence in change:
In this disruptive and disrupted period, the most important thing is not what will change but what will remain
. This reflection invites us to identify fundamental values and principles that transcend technological and social mutations.

[45] On entrepreneurship, he states:

[46], emphasizing the importance of valuing local entrepreneurial models. Regarding influence and social impact, he declares:
A true influencer is one who positively influences people's lives, who inspires them to become better, who helps them realize their dreams
[47].
