Marvelous Sunday (Japanese: マーベラスサンデー, May 31, 1992 – June 30, 2016) was a Japanese racehorse and sire. He won the 1997 GI Takarazuka Kinen and the GIII Sankei Osaka Hai, and was selected as the JRA Award for Best Older Male Horse that same year. Other victories include the 1996 Kyoto Daishoten, Epsom Cup, Sapporo Kinen, and Challenge Cup. Due to his consistent performance, he was called a "model student".[1]
