Martin Kaczmarski

Martin Kaczmarski (born July 30, 1990 in Essen, Germany ) – Polish entrepreneur, rally and racing driver. Founder, co-owner, and CEO of Kaczmarski Group sp. z o.o. January 2014, he competed in the 36th edition of the Dakar Rally and, as the youngest car driver in the history of the rally, took 9th place in the general classification[1].

Business

The family-owned Kaczmarski Group currently comprises 12 entities and brands . Martin Kaczmarski has been the president of the management board of Kaczmarski Group sp. z o.o. since 2014. He is the originator of ChronPESEL.pl, a platform that provides consumers with protection in the event of identity theft, and NFG, a company specializing in providing services to SMEs, including factoring (in the case of this company, he also serves as a member of the supervisory board). The main goal of the business he is developing is to reduce risk in relations between entrepreneurs. Since 2015, he has been a proxy at Kaczmarski Inkasso sp. z o.o., the oldest Polish debt collection company. He also serves as a member of the supervisory boards of Krajowy Rejestr Długów BIG SA and NFG[2].

In January 2016, Martin Kaczmarski became Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia in Wrocław[3].

At the beginning of 2024, he was among the founders of the Council of Polish Entrepreneurs, an advisory body operating within the Employers of Poland (Pracodawcy RP)[4].

In 2025, he established the Świadomy Medyk Foundation, whose mission is to support and develop the competences of paramedics, equalize the level of knowledge in this community, and increase the effectiveness of actions taken for the benefit of patients. Under the editorship of Martin Kaczmarski and Jacek Wawrzynek, MD, PhD, the book "K1/K2. 50 najczęstszych interwencji Zespołów Ratownictwa Medycznego" (K1/K2. 50 most common interventions by Emergency Medical Teams) was published by the Świadomy Medyk Foundation. As part of its statutory activities, the foundation donated over 5,000 copies of the book free of charge to over 1,600 emergency medical services, hospital emergency departments, Air Ambulance bases, and GOPR and TOPR branches across Poland[2].

As a teenager, Kaczmarski started out driving a so-called szayowóz (an off-road cross car with a "maluch" engine mounted in a spacious tube cage; the name comes from the surname of the legendary motorsport commentator Krzysztof Szaykowski). Later, he had a Jeep Wrangler, which he used to compete in cross-country rallies[1].

In 2012, he took part in the Polish Cross Country Championships. In his first season, driving an English Bowler Nemesis, he immediately won second place in the championship[5]. He switched from the Bowler to a Toyota Hilux, in which he competed in 2013 on the sands of Qatar and Abu Dhabi. At the end of 2013, Martin Kaczmarski received an invitation from the German company X-Raid to race their Mini All4 Racing[6], which he drove throughout the 2014 Cross Country World Cup season.

In the 2015 season, he raced in the in the RX Lites class, where he finished 10th in the overall standingsdriving a Fiesta race car[7]. In 2016, Kaczmarski competed in the FIA European Rallycross Championship in the most powerful Supercar class[8], finishing 11th in the overall standings and as the best of the Fiesta drivers[8].

In 2014, on the last day of the Cross Country World Cup in Qatar, Kaczmarski was riding with a 40-second lead over the leader of theAl Attiyah . However, a broken wheel 150 km before the finish line prevented the Lotto Team rider from continuing. He was eliminated from the 37th edition of the Dakar Rally (January 2015) due to a spinal injury (cervical sprain) sustained in the October Cross Country World Cup rally in Morocco[9].

In 2021, behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3, he teamed up with Mateusz Lisowski to compete in the Polish Car Racing Championships in the Endurance category, where he took third place on the podium. In the winter of 2022, he continued training on the Portuguese tracks Autódromo do Estorii and Autódromo Internacional do Algavre[10], followed by Hockenheimring in Germany, and in June 2022, he took second place in the GTC class and first place in the Endurance race at the Austrian Red Bull Ring[11]. In September of the same year, he won the FIA Central European Zone Endurance Championship for the 2022 season[12].

In the 2023 season, he continued to compete in races behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3, taking part in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland, including at the Misano World Circuit in Italy[13] and the Red Bull Ring in Austria[14].

In 2024, he switched to a Mercedes AMG GT3, in which he competed in the GTWS Winter Series on tracks including the Circuito Permanente in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain (finished on the podium)[15], Ciudad del Motor de Aragón in Spain (finished in 1st place)[16], and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya[17]. In the same year, he also participated in the FIA CEZ Circuit Racing series. Together with Mateusz Lisowski, he won the opening race of the series in Hungary[18]. In July 2024, he also took part in the 12-hour Creventic 24 Series race at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy[19].

In mid-2024, he returned to cross-country rallying behind the wheel of a Toyota Hilux Overdrive T1 Ultimate. He took part in Baja Aragón in Spain, Baja Poland[20] in Pomerania, and Rallye du Maroc (Morocco Rally)[21]. A year later, he competed in the Jordan Baja and the Italian Baja, where he took second place in the overall classification[20].

Personal life

Martin Kaczmarski is the son of Maciej Kaczmarski , founder of the first Polish debt collection company Kaczmarski Inkasso, and Małgorzata Kaczmarski[26].

Martin's name comes from his place of birth. His parents emigrated to Germany and when he was born in Essen, they did not plan to return. Martin spent the first two years of his life abroad, then moved back to Poland with his entire family[27].
