Mark Strange (born 8 October 1973) is an English actor, film producer and martial artist. He is known for his appearances in action films including Ip Man 4: The Finale (2019), Avengement (2019), Redcon-1 (2018), and Kung Fu Games (2024).[1]

Career

Strange began his film career in the early 2000s, working on Hong Kong productions including Jackie Chan’s The Medallion (2003) and Twins Effect (2003). He also appeared in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins (2005).[2]

He co-wrote, co-produced and starred in the British action-horror film Redcon-1 (2018), which was released theatrically in the United Kingdom and later streamed on Netflix.[3]

In 2019, Strange played Clif in Jesse V. Johnson’s Avengement, featuring in the film’s climactic fight sequence with Scott Adkins.[4] He also appeared in Ip Man 4: The Finale (2019), performing a fight scene with the character of Bruce Lee, portrayed by Danny Chan Kwok-kwan.

In 2022, he was announced as part of the cast of Isaac Florentine’s Hounds of War, alongside Frank Grillo and Rhona Mitra.[5]

Strange played the lead role in Paramount’s Kung Fu Games (2024).[6][7] He has also been credited with action performance work on Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).
