Career
[edit]Leung qualified for the 2017 PDC World Youth Championship through the Asian qualifier, defeated 6–2 by Rhys Hayden in the first round. He returned to PDC competition during the 2020 PDC Development Tour, later competing at the 2020 PDC World Youth Championship, reaching the last 32 having won his group. The following year, Leung competed at the 2021 PDC World Cup of Darts alongside Kai Fan Leung, missing match darts to defeat Northern Ireland in the first round.
In January 2023, Leung made his debut in the World Series of Darts having received a wildcard to compete at the 2023 Bahrain Darts Masters. Having finished joint fourth in the 2023 Asian Tour, Leung lost a World Championship qualifier to Reynaldo Rivera in September 2023. His qualification for the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship was confirmed however following the success of Haruki Muramatsu at the Asian Championship, allowing fifth position on the Asian Tour rankings to qualify. On 18 December 2023, Leung made his World Championship debut, defeating Gian van Veen 3–2 in the first round having trailed 2–0. His run came to an end in the second round when he was defeated 3–1 by Gabriel Clemens.
