Lily: Sold Out is a 1981 television special hosted and staring Lily Tomlin.[1] The show aired on CBS Television in 1981. In the movie, Tomlin plays herself taking her one-woman Broadway show to Las Vegas after being promised large quantities of money. She and other actors play characters in skits as she arrives in Las Vegas and rehearses for her big show.
Lily: Sold Out was nominated for three Primetime Emmys and won the Emmy for Outstanding Variety, Music Or Comedy Program - 1981.[2]
