Karl Legris (French pronunciation: [kaʁl ləɡʁi]; born December 23, 2003), known professionally as ZephyrMusic, is a French musician, actor, singer-songwriter, and record producer.

Early life and education

Karl Legris was born on December 23, 2003, in Maubeuge, France.[1] He is the son of Céline Legris, and Éric Legris, an athlete specializing in running races.[2] Legris has a close relationship with his maternal grandparents, Annie-Claude, and Jean-Jacques.

He attended Anne Godeau Elementary School in Bachant. He learned music theory and to play musical instruments such as the trombone, violin, guitar and piano at the Hautmont music school.[3]

He attended the Jessé de Forest High School in Avesnes-sur-Helpe where he obtained a scientific baccalaureate. He studied medicine at the Henri Warembourg Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lille.[4]

Musical style

ZephyrMusic doesn't have a defined musical genre, he can play rock, jazz or classical music, but his music is generally pop. Some of his covers come from video games like Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion, while the majority of his covers are popular songs like "Firework" by Katy Perry, "Just Give Me a Reason" by P!nk, "Imagine" by John Lennon, and "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen.[5]

Influences

ZephyrMusic has cited American pianist Marcus Veltri, American violinist Rob Landes, and Ukrainian violinist Karolina Protsenko as musical influences. He has also been influenced by Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, and Vianney.
