Julia Selow is a German artist and educator whose work includes fine arts, animation, and gaming. She is noted for an interdisciplinary approach aimed at social impact.

Artistic career

Julia Selow’s work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Her artistic exploration often involves themes of construction and deconstruction, presenting diffrent views of "beauty and society".[3]

Awards and impact

Selow received the "Deutschlandstipendium" in 2017 for her academic and artistic achievements. Selow is the CEO and co founder of C1 Innovations, a studio focused on the development of technology based projects in digital gaming. [6] The studio’s main project, the Human Heritage Project, is a historical role playing game RPG that addresses themes of history and cultural understanding under the theme "we are all one". The "Human Heritage Project" won the “Global Entertainment Awards[7] 2025” for its "innovative approach to social impact" through gaming.[8]
