Jamai van den Herik (born 10 April 2003) is a Dutch professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events.
Career
[edit]Van den Herik was able to qualify for the PDC World Youth Championship as an international qualifier, but was eliminated in the group stage. In addition, van den Herik played on the PDC Development Tour, where he reached the semi-finals in 2020 and 2023. At the beginning of 2024, he participated in the PDC Qualifying School for the first time, but missed out on winning a Tour Card. From then on, van den Herik played on the 2024 PDC Challenge Tour series. At the 2024 PDC World Youth Championship he reached the knockout rounds for the first time, where he was eliminated against Niko Springer. In February 2025, van den Herik reached his third semi-final on the Development Tour. In May he also won his first tournament on the 2025 PDC Challenge Tour series. Van den Herik also advanced to the quarter-finals at a Players Championship event. In addition, van den Herik was able to reach the semi-finals in the WDF's Antwerp Open. In August 2025, he recorded another tournament victory on the Challenge Tour. This was followed by a tournament victory at the PDC Development Tour 2025 in September and October. At the 2025 PDC World Youth Championship, van den Herik was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Luke Littler. Since the two finalists, Beau Greaves and Gian van Veen, were already qualified for the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship, van den Henrik qualified as the fifth-placed player in the PDC Development Tour ranking.
