Jake Moore (born 4 Sept 1981) is the Global Cybersecurity Advisor [1][2] at ESET where he conducts research and analysis into cybersecurity and AI threats. He also regularly offers expert commentary in the UK media.

He holds a BSc in Mathematics & Statistic from Kingston University and is known for his interest in ethical hacking and demonstrating social engineering and other cybercrime vulnerabilities.

Jake regularly comments in the national press including The BBC [3], The Times [4], The i paper [5], Information Age [6], Sky News [7] and on radio such as BBC Radio 5 [8] offering expert insights on cybersecurity and AI.

He also regularly appears on ITV [9] and is a resident cybersecurity expert for ITV's Good Morning Britain and regularly discusses scams, general cybersecurity and AI[10]. He also works across multiple channels, including the BBC [11] and Channel 4 [12]

As well as adding commentary on TV and radio news channels, he has written articles in TechRadar [13] and also offers consumer advice for TV shows such as Rip-Off Britain [14][15]

Jake served for 14 years in Dorset Police [16], working in the Digital Forensics Unit for 10 years and the Cybercrime Team [17] for two years [18]
