Submission declined on 7 May 2025 by Cabrils (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Comment: Still fails to address notability issues. Please provide WP:THREE on Talk page as requested. Please change content to past tense to meet WP:MOS. The new Manilla Bulletin link does not work (and if it can be repaired, it is included twice which should be consolidated). Cabrils (talk) 00:33, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Draft still lacks sufficient reliable sources to establish notability. Page creator has COI so draft needs to meet the higher bar of very clearly establishing notability as defined. The whole thing feels WP:TOOSOON. As previously requested, on the Talk page, please provide WP:THREE. Cabrils (talk) 22:54, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
Comment: re-submitted with no improvement? Theroadislong (talk) 19:38, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO) but presently it is not clear that it does. As you may know, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see the articles ‘Your First Article’, ‘Referencing for Beginners’ and ‘Easier Referencing for Beginners’. The draft does not appear to show that the subject has any notability beyond the average coverage for similar commentators (see WP:ROTM). Please note, given you have declared you have a conflict of interest (thank you for doing so), the draft needs to meet the higher bar of very clearly evidencing the relevant notability requirements. Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements, then please make the necessary amendments before resubmitting the page. It would help our volunteer reviewers by identifying, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject. It would also be helpful if you could please identify with specificity, exactly which criteria you believe the page meets (eg "I think the page now meets WP:ANYBIO criteria #3, because XXXXX"). Once you have implemented these suggestions, you may also wish to leave a note for me on my talk page and I would be happy to reassess. Cabrils (talk) 23:37, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

Jack Logan (born March 30, 1983), is a Filipino YouTuber, vlogger, comedian and filmmaker. He is known for his commentaries about social issues on Facebook and YouTube.[1][2]
Career
[edit]Social media
[edit]Before becoming a content creator, Logan worked as a writer for AM radio, where he focused on journalism. He stated that the ordinary people he encountered opened his eyes to real issues and stories.[3]
Logan gained popularity on social media through his original videos, quotes, travel vlogs and product reviews.[4]
In August 2021, following the social media outrage over Nas Daily's alleged exploitation of the Philippines’ living cultural treasure, the 103-year-old Apo Whang-Od, Logan called on Filipinos to come together and shine a light on the Philippines without validation or help from foreigners.[5] “I call on my Filipino friends, vloggers, artists, and people in power: It’s time to come together and put the Philippines on a bigger stage without waiting for someone to notice us,” he said.
In March 2023, Logan criticized social media personality Rendon Labador's rant about the disturbing issue of Coco Martin's taping of "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" at the sale of some vendors in Quiapo, Manila.[6] Logan also stressed that Coco Martin is not the only one Rendon is fighting and evicting, as well as the hundreds of people and production workers who make up the said action-drama series.
In April 2023, he also critized Rendon Labador's trending motivational rice, after the latter said that his rice is a symbol of people who don't give up on life.[7] In the same month, Logan openly defended Belle Mariano against her bashers on social media. This prompted a positive response from her fans who appreciated his message.[2]
In May 2023, Logan became the latest addition to celebrities and social media personalities who sided with Michael V when he was insulted by another social media influencer Rendon Labador on the issue of content creators of the Philippines.[8]
In May 2025, in the lead-up to the 2025 Philippine general elections, Jack Logan publicly spoke out against the use of “ayuda” (financial aid) as a form of vote-buying. In a widely shared video posted on his official Facebook page, Logan urged voters to remain critical of campaign handouts, warning that these acts—often disguised as charitable gestures—are politically motivated tactics designed to secure votes.[9]
Film
[edit]In November 2023, Logan's social media documentary entitled Jack Logan Realtalks is nominated for the best single digital program/short film category of the 28th Asian Television Awards. He joins veteran journalists Cathy Yang, Korina Sanchez, and Rico Hizon as the only Filipino vlogger to compete in the category.[10][11][12] His entry to the awards is the June 2023 episode featuring San Juan City's colorful history which includes the 1896 Philippine Revolution.[13][14] Logan cites Batang Balau and Kawayang Pangarap by Kara David as pivotal influences in his approach to storytelling.[10]
Known for his satirical takes on social issues, Logan shifted toward more hard-hitting content.[15] In April 2025, Logan announced his documentary, "Sa Gitna ng Dalawang Tubig," which explores the lives of Filipino fishermen caught between territorial conflict and survival in the West Philippine Sea. The documentary aims to shed light on the human cost behind geopolitical struggles, giving voice to marginalized communities often overlooked by mainstream narratives.[16][10]
