Iftikhar Hassan Chaudhary is a serving two-star general in the Pakistan Army, currently serving as Commandant, Pakistan Military Academy Kakul (Comdt PMA), Abbottabad.[1]
Career
[edit]Chaudhary commissioned in 30 SP heavy Artillery through 86th PMA Long Course in 1991. He was promoted to the rank of Major General from Brigadier in 2020.[2]
He had his tenure as Private Secretary to the Chief of Army Staff.[3] He also served as Director General of Rangers Sindh (DG PR Sindh) till 2022.[4][5]
He is currently serving as Commandant, Pakistan Military Academy Kakul (Comdt PMA), Abbottabad.[1] He received the Hilal-i-Imtiaz medal from President Asif Ali Zardari in 2024.[6]
