Ieda Magri is a Brazilian writer. Born in Águas Frias in Santa Catarina, she holds a doctorate in Brazilian literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).[1]
Her first book Tinha uma coisa aqui, a collection of short stories, appeared in 2007. Her other works include Um Crime Bárbaro, Uma exposição, Ninguém and Olhos de bicho. Her work has been nominated for various literary prizes in Brazil; Olhos de Bicho was a finalist of the 2014 São Paulo Prize for Literature.[2]
She lives in Rio de Janeiro where she teaches Literary Theory at UFRJ.[3][4]
