Greyzik (real name Youssef Hmaidi, born 18 September 1992 in Rabat, Morocco) is a Moroccan singer, songwriter, and music producer known for creating music that blends diverse cultural influences while promoting themes of love, respect, and inclusivity. His stage name combines "Grey", symbolizing neutrality and diversity, with "zik", a Moroccan slang term for music, representing his vision of "grey music"music for everyone regardless of color, religion, or nationality.

Early life and background

Youssef Hmaidi was born in Rabat and developed an interest in music at an early age, drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres and cultural sounds. Before pursuing a part-time career in music.

Beginnings

Greyzik began producing and writing songs independently, performing with his band and collaborating with other Moroccan musicians. He gradually gained recognition through online releases.
