GreenStitch (also stylized as GreenStitch.io) is an India and UK based climate-tech company that develops software for environmental measurement and reporting in the fashion and textile sector. Its platform provides tools for carbon accounting, life-cycle assessment, and sustainability compliance.[1]
History
[edit]GreenStitch was founded in 2023 by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani in Bengaluru, India.[2]
Products and services
[edit]The company's SaaS platform includes modules for Scope 1–3 emissions accounting, life-cycle assessment (LCA), environmental profit and loss (EP&L), and digital product passports (DPPs).[3]
In July 2025, GreenStitch launched the Higg AI Gap Analyser, a free tool designed to evaluate Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) reports, highlight performance gaps, and suggest improvements.[4]
Funding
[edit]In January 2025, GreenStitch raised USD 1.2 million in seed funding led by Equirus InnovateX Fund, with participation from IvyCap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, Zeca Ventures, and angel investors including Pankaj Vermani and Amit Kumar.[5][6]
Recognition
[edit]The company was recognised by India’s Ministry of Textiles as "Digital Innovation of the Year" at the Bharat Tex event, one of Asia’s largest textile industry gatherings.[7]
