Girish Pradhan is an Indian actor who worked predominately in Telugu films, apart from a few Tamil and Kannada films.
Early life and career
[edit]Originally from Dharwad, Girish Pradhan studied BSE in Forensics Science and Criminalology. He was studying for the IPS exam when he got an interview from the Adyar Film Institute. K. Viswanath promised him a role in Saptapadi (1981) after he agreed to learn Telugu. Since his role was a flutist, he learned to play the flute. Viswanath dubbed for his role.[1][2][3]
Apart from Viswanath's films Subhalekha (1982) and Sirivennela (1986), he also starred in mostly Telugu films apart from four Tamil films and a Kannada film with Girish Karnad.[1][2][3]
