Draft:Gil Dezer

Gil Dezer is an American real estate developer and car collector. He is the President of Miami-based Dezer Development, a firm founded by his father Michael Dezer. Dezer is well known for building luxury condominium developments in South Florida including Porsche Design Tower and invented a new residential car elevator called the Dezervator. He is currently working with Bentley Motors on the company's first branded concept, Bentley Residences Miami. Dezer also has a long track record of building Trump-branded real estate in Sunny Isles Beach, including Trump Towers and Trump International Beach Resort. [1]

Career

[edit]

Dezer first gained prominence with the success of six Trump-branded towers in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Building on that momentum, he entered into a landmark agreement with the Porsche to develop the Porsche Design Tower, a 60-story ultra-luxury skyscraper notable for its unique Dezervator — a patented automobile elevator system that allows residents to park their vehicles in private “sky garages” adjacent to their units.[2]

Continuing to merge real estate with elite lifestyle branding, Dezer partnered with The Related Group[3] to develop Residences by Armani/Casa. This 56-story oceanfront tower, designed by renowned architect César Pelli, features 308 residences outfitted with custom furnishings and rich design elements by Armani/Casa. Other collaborations with The Related Group include Hyde Midtown Suites and Residences in Miami’s Arts & Design District and the forthcoming Rosewood Residences Hillsboro Beach, a luxury development designed by Arquitectonica.

Dezer Development is also undertaking the large-scale redevelopment of the Intracoastal Mall into Uptown Harbor, a 30-acre mixed-use community that will include residential towers, retail, dining, a boutique hotel, and a waterfront promenade.

Currently under construction is Bentley Residences Miami, another ongoing Dezer project. Developed in partnership with Bentley Motors, the 62-story tower features signature car elevators and in-unit sky garages.
