Geimere Latimer II (born January 26, 2005) is an American college football cornerback for the Wisconsin Badgers. He previously played for the Jacksonville State Gamecocks.
Early Life
[edit]Latimer II grew up in Fairburn, Georgia, and attended Sandy Creek High School. As a senior, playing quarterback, he threw for 3,007 yards and 37 touchdowns, while also rushing for 576 yards and 10 touchdowns. Latimer II was rated as a two-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Jacksonville State Gamecocks.[1]
College Career

[edit]As a freshman in 2023, Latimer II played in all 13 games, making two starts at corner. Latimer II recorded his first career interception in the regular season finale at New Mexico State.[2] Latimer II finished the season with 10 tackles, one interception, and a forced fumble.[3] In week ten of the 2024 season, he recorded a season-high six tackles and a game-sealing interception in the fourth quarter of win at Liberty, earning him Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week.[4] As a sophomore, Latimer II totaled 46 tackles, three interceptions, and six pass deflections.[5]
Wisconsin
[edit]On December 24, 2024, Latimer II announced he was transferring to the Wisconsin Badgers.[6]
