Gatewatcher is a French software publishing company specializing in cybersecurity. It develops technologies for detecting cyberattacks.[1][2]

History

[edit]

Gatewatcher was founded in 2015 by engineers who graduated from ESIEA.[3]

In 2019, Gatewatcher received the security visa issued by the French National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI) for the qualification of its advanced threat detection solution, Trackwatch.[3]

Gatewatcher’s CEO was invited by Emmanuel Macron to attend the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos.[4][5] That same year, Gatewatcher was selected to receive support from the French government's ETIncelles program, which aims to help high-potential SMEs grow into mid-sized companies.[6]

In 2025 Gatewatcher has received €25 million in funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB) as part of a venture debt scheme aimed at supporting its growth. The funding is in line with the EIB’s objectives to strengthen cyber resilience at the European level.[7][8]
