Comics and cultural activity

[edit]

He organized the program "Comicazo" at the Córdoba Book and Knowledge Fair in 2014 and 2015, helping to promote comics as a relevant cultural element.[2] He also coordinated the "Humor Day" in 2015 at the Córdoba Cultural Center and the "Kidcómic" festival in 2016.[3]

Support for comics legislation

[edit]

In 2012, Sosa proposed a national law to promote and protect Argentine comics.[4] The proposal was submitted to the Argentine National Congress under protocol number "Expediente 0502-D-2014". Although the bill was not approved, it highlighted the importance of comics in Argentine culture.

International collaborations

[edit]

Sosa has worked with several international publishing houses, including Barricada Cómics in Argentina and Wi-Fi Digital Press abroad, collaborating with artists from Latin America and Europe.[5]

Work in animation

[edit]

Since 2022, Sosa has worked as a storyboard artist for the animated series Booba, produced by the British studio 3D Sparrow and distributed worldwide on Netflix.[6] The children's series is known for its comedic style and lack of dialogue, focusing on the adventures of a curious character in everyday situations. Sosa's contribution has been essential to the production of the most recent episodes.
