Personal Life and Career

[edit]

Flynn was born in New York City and grew up in Rockland County, NY.[1] She is an identical triplet.[2]

She made her television debut on The Naked Brothers Band, starring Nat Wolff & Alex Wolff in 2009 while in high school.[2] She attended Tappan Zee High School.[3] She went on to graduate from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and made her feature film debut in the film Shoplifters of the World, about English rock band The Smiths. The film starred Joe Manganiello and Helena Howard and released in 2020.[2][4]

Flynn's other film credits include Linoleum, which played in the dramatic competition at the South by Southwest film festival in 2022; Unidentified Objects, which The Wrap cited as one of the Best LGBTQ+ films of the year in 2022; and Confession, a crime thriller from Yale Productions starring Michael Ironside.[1][5][6][7] In the ladder, Flynn starred as a sexual assault survivor silenced by the statutes of limitations. Her performance was heralded as a "nice turn", and Flynn an actress "whose remarkable gaze can command attention even in a still photograph."[8]

Flynn's most notable acting work is in Peacemaker season 2, James Gunn's second addition to the new DCU. She recurs as a character named Zora, who first appears in Season 2 Episode 1, The Ties that Grind.[9] Zora is a participant in the 'bisexual orgy' Peacemaker has in his home, which Variety called "easily the most full-frontal nudity ever assembled in a live-action DC Comics adaption."[10][11]
