Eliran Hirsh (אלירן הירש) (born 1984) is an Israeli social activist and professional voice actor based in Berlin, Germany. He's the founder of the organisation Tfuzot and the initiator of Jewish History Month, an international project established to highlight Jewish history each October. He also produces and hosts the podcasts Israelis on the Line and Ma Nisgar Berlin.

Activism and media

In Berlin, he set up Tfuzot, an organisation that develops cultural and media projects connected with Jewish and Israeli life. In 2024 he launched Jewish History Month, an annual initiative that presents online and community activities about Jewish history and heritage.[1]

He hosts the podcast Israelis on the Line, where he speaks with Israelis who have moved abroad, and Ma Nisgar Berlin, which focuses on everyday experiences within Berlin’s Israeli community. He produces both podcasts independently in Berlin.[2][3][4]

Career

Before founding Tfuzot, Hirsh built a career as a professional voice actor and narrator. Active since 2013, he focuses on Hebrew-language content across Europe, mainly museum testimonial recordings and audio tours, and serves as the recurring voice for YouTube Premium and TED-Ed Youth in Israel. He also narrated the Holocaust memoir The Horse Adjutant.[5]

Hirsh graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Max Stern Yezreel Valley College in Israel.

Personal life

He was born in Haifa, Israel, and has lived in Berlin, Germany, since 2017 with his wife and two sons.[6]
