Early life and education

Career

In 1996, he launched CIMAR as the first dedicated IVF centre in northern Kerala. In a 2022 interview with The Indian Express, Gopinathan underscored the need for equitable infertility care in rural regions. He stated, "Infertility is not just an urban issue; we see hundreds of rural couples silently suffering without access to counselling or ART services.
