Dig is an upcoming American comedy television series co-written by and starring Amy Poehler. It is co-written by Mike Schur and J.J. Philbin, with all three also executive producers. It is an adaptation of the Kate Myers novel Excavations. It received a series order from Peacock in May 2025.

[edit]The series is an adaptation of Kate Myers' novel Excavations. The series has Mike Schur and Amy Poehler as co-writers of the pilot episode and executive producers the series, with Poehler set to star. The series marks the first collaboration between the pair since the 2015 finale of the series Parks and Rec. The studio is Universal Television, where both have overall deals. J.J. Philbin is also a writer and executive producer, and it makes the first time married couple Schur and Philbin have teamed on a half-hour series, having previously worked together at Saturday Night Live in the late 1990s. [2] Morgan Sackett, Dave Becky and David Miner, Sharon Jackson, Kate Arend and Jordan Grief also executive produce. Author Kate Myers is a co-executive producer.[3]
