Clerks’s Quarters is a part of the Buea municipality located within the Fako Division of the Southwest region of Cameroon. [1]

Geography

Clerks’ quarters in Buea is a neighborhood situated in Cameroon, specifically on the southeast slope of Mount Cameroon. [2]This area’s geography is mostly made up of undulating terrain, rock formation and is prone to flooding in some areas[3].

Clerks’ Quarters is at an elevation of 3000 feet(900 meters) above sea level.[1]

Clerks quarters was originally developed as residential quarters for government clerks during the colonial period.[4]

Business hub: Clerks’ Quarters is know for its vibrant atmosphere and the numerous businesses that operate within its borders. More so, Clerks’ Quarters is a popular place for residents, particularly those involved in business activities.[5]

Neighboring areas: Adjacent areas to Clerks’ Quarter in Buea include; Buea Town, Government Residential Areas(GRA) in Bokwaongo, and the Bokwaongo Native area. The Buea army camp and Bongo Square[6] are other areas you can find around the vicinity of Clerks’ Quarters.
