Dr. Aqib Mujtaba

Dr. Aqib Mujtaba is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Akal University Bathinda Punjab.[1] Previously, he worked at the NITI Aayog (Planning Commission) in the infrastructure, connectivity & E-Mobility vertical. He completed his PhD in Economics from the School of Economics, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra, Jammu and Kashmir[2], India and his PDF from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISERB), MP, India[3][4]. He is an awardee of the National Fellowship for Higher Education of ST students and has worked as a senior research fellow of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA), Government of India (GoI). Dr. Mujtaba has qualified the University Grant Commission National Eligibility test (UGC-NET) in Economics. He completed his master's degree (M.A. in Economics) from Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri Jammu and Kashmir, India. Undergraduate from the University of Jammu.
Dr. Mujtaba is an active researcher in energy and environmental economics domain who has presented his research at various national and international conferences. He also participated in various Research Methodology workshops on data visualization and modelling. Dr. Mujtaba has basic knowledge of econometric Tools/Software like EViews, STATA, SPSS, and R-software. He has published his research work in reputed international high-impact factor journals indexed in SCOPUS, WoS-Science Citation Index (SCI), Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), ABDC ranked and UGC-CARE listed journals[5]. The Asia-Pacific Applied Economic Association has awarded him a monetary honorarium as a token of appreciation for his publication in the Energy Research Letters. He is serving as a referee of several well-reputed International journals. According to a recent Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) author ranking, he is ranked among the the top 1000 best researchers.
