Anita (also known as **Anita Devi Mahto**) is an Indian politician from Bihar. She is a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the **Warisaliganj / Warsaliganj (239)** constituency in the 2025 elections.
Political career
[edit]In the **2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly election**, Anita contested the seat from Warsaliganj (AC 239) on an RJD ticket. [3] According to official results, she received **10,246 votes** in one round shown in the ECI data, representing **41.31%** share in that count. [4]
Media reports indicate she defeated her rival by **7,543 votes**. [5]
