Amit Kumar (born c. 1991) is an Indian politician and member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly[citation needed], representing the Belsand constituency since 2025. He contested the 2025 Bihar Assembly election on a ticket from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and won by a margin of 22,685 votes.[citation needed]

According to his election affidavit, Amit Kumar is 34 years old (in 2025) and has passed Class 12.[1] He is primarily involved in business. In his affidavit, he declared total assets worth approximately ₹2.4 crore and liabilities of ₹7 lakh.

Political career

Amit Kumar entered the Bihar Legislative Assembly in the 2025 election, representing the Belsand constituency (Constituency No. 30) in Sitamarhi district. He defeated Sanjay Kumar Gupta of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), securing 82,076 votes to Gupta’s 59,391.
