Alex W. Newton (June 19, 1930- December 25, 2015) was an American Lawyer from Alabama. He was one of the founding members of the law firm Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton, LLP.
Early Life
[edit]Newton was born in Birmingham, Alabama on June 19, 1930. Newton served He then served as a Company Commander in the United States Army Infantry during the Korean War.

Honors
[edit]in September 2023, the University of Alabama School of Law dedicated the Alex W. Newton Fountain & Courtyard. The fountain is titled "The Splash."[1] Newton was inducted into the Alabama Lawyers' Hall of Fame in 2024.[2]
