| Submission declined on 5 October 2025 by DoubleGrazing (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by DoubleGrazing 2 months ago. |

Comment: I am having a very hard time believing that these news articles are not either an instance of clear churnalism or even simply covert advertising, given the repetitiveness of talking points across articles—just look at the last paragraph of nearly every source, and it's the same idea but reworded several different ways, and some being just exact copies. Comment: Not fully convinced on this person meeting WP:NMUSIC. We have some interviews and promo-pieces as sources, neither of which are independent. qcne (talk) 15:57, 1 September 2025 (UTC)

Alam Sher (born c. 2002) is a Pakistani rapper and songwriter from Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[1][2][3] Performing under the stage name Alamsher LLC, he is known for rapping primarily in the English language, a notable distinction in a region where Pashto and Urdu music are predominant.[3][1]
Early life and background
[edit]Sher was born in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.[2] He developed an early interest in Western music and, without access to formal training or professional studios, taught himself music production using online tutorials.[2][3] He has cited his culturally conservative environment and a lack of local resources as significant challenges he faced during his formative years.[2][1]
Career and artistry
[edit]Sher began his career as an independent artist, releasing his music online to build an audience.[2][3] His stage name, Alamsher LLC, includes a self-styled initialism for his creative philosophy: "Listen, Learn, Create".[2] His early songs, including "American Dream", "Gangers Friends", and "Ode to Self", explored themes of ambition, resilience, and self-reflection.[4] The decision to perform in English was a deliberate artistic choice aimed at connecting with a global audience.[3][5][6]
His musical style is described as authentic and introspective, with a focus on personal storytelling over commercial appeal.[2][1] His lyrics often explore themes of personal struggle, identity, and emotional isolation, drawing from his own life experiences.[2][5][7]
Reception
[edit]Sher's music has found a receptive audience among younger listeners seeking authenticity and relatability in his lyrics.[2][8][1] A local cultural critic, quoted in The Province, praised the "raw honesty" in his music, stating, "It doesn't feel manufactured; it feels lived."[2]
