Au Chau Fashion & Cosmetics Co., Ltd (commonly known as ACFC) is a Vietnamese retail management and distribution company headquartered in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. A subsidiary of the Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG), ACFC specializes in the distribution of mid-tier and premium international fashion, travel, and lifestyle brands.[1][2]

Established in 2009, the company is the sole and official distributor in Vietnam for a portfolio of over 25 major global brands, managing a network of more than 250 retail stores across major cities including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, and Hai Phong.

History and Corporate Structure

[edit]

ACFC was founded in 2009 by the Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG), a conglomerate led by Chairman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, to capture the growing demand for authentic international fashion in Vietnam. While its sister company, DAFC (Duy Anh Fashion & Cosmetics), focuses on luxury and high-end fashion houses (e.g., Rolex, Burberry), ACFC was established to lead the mid-market segment, targeting a broader demographic of young, modern consumers.

The company is led by Louis Nguyen (Nguyen Quoc Khanh), who serves as the CEO[3]. Under his leadership, ACFC has expanded its operations from a few initial franchises to a dominant market position, holding exclusive distribution rights for some of the world's most recognized mass-market labels. In early 2024, the company further consolidated its portfolio by officially taking over the distribution and operation of A|X Armani Exchange stores nationwide, a brand previously managed within the wider group's ecosystem. [4]

Exclusive Brand Portfolio

[edit]

ACFC acts as the sole official distributor in Vietnam for a wide range of international brands, covering categories such as sportswear, fast fashion, footwear, accessories, and cosmetics. Operations and Market Presence

[edit]

ACFC operates a "monopoly-like" distribution model for its specific niche of mid-tier international brands, ensuring consistency in pricing and authentic product origin—a critical factor in a market historically challenged by counterfeit goods. The company leverages a loyalty program with over 2 million VIP members to drive retention across its diverse portfolio.[6]

In addition to brick-and-mortar expansion, ACFC has heavily invested in digital transformation, launching dedicated e-commerce platforms for major brands like Nike, Mango, and Levi's in Vietnam, as well as a multi-brand site (ACFC Online) to serve nationwide logistics.[6]
