Joseph "ChairThatSpins" Macinanti (born 11th April 2005), is an American YouTuber most known for his Bendy Videos, and his relation to the series in general.
Joseph Macinanti made his first YouTube video on his main channel (ChairThatSpins) on August 5, 2023, with his first stream under the same name on Twitch being just a little over a week later, on August 13th 2023 — where he started the stream playing BioShock, and then Minecraft. He'd stream a bit more over the following weeks and months, eventually making his first Bendy-related video on October 31st, 2023 about the reveal of Bendy: The Cage. 6 days later, he'd upload "EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT BENDY: THE CAGE" which helped grow his popularity inside the community, and as of October 29th 2025- has 15,349 views and even a reply from Mike Desjardins, the co-developer of the Bendy series.
And just a few days after that, Joseph Macinanti would host a two-hour-long interview with Adrienne Kress, the writer of the three main Bendy books, which, as of writing, has 1,217 views. As time passed, he slowly grew more and more infamous inside the Bendy fandom, creating more and more videos, each on average gaining many thousands of views.
Eventually, on April 14th 2024, a new game in the Bendy series was released titled Bendy: Secrets of the Machine. One of the main gimmicks with this game is the fact that it was being constantly updated, with minor tweaks and additions in each patch. On launch day, during a stream by Joseph Macinanti, one of these updates changed the main room to have a spinning chair in it, the exact same one that he's used as his profile picture over the years. After this event, and more interaction with the developers (Mike Desjardins and theMeatly) and more videos each amassing thousands of views each Joey Drew Studios and Joseph Macinanti had a collaboration in the few weeks before the release of Bendy: Lone Wolf, where two shirts were released on the official Bendy Store: one with an image of the Spinning Chair he uses everywhere and the words "pull up a chair for Lone Wolf", and another shirt with an image of Boris from the games, and text that says "Lone Wolf Tomorrow", a reference to a phrase made popular by Joseph Macinanti in the Bendy community during the wait for the game.
Joseph Macinanti has also stated that "IM NOT FUCKING STRAIGHT" and "im not gay neither, i like who i like" showing him as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, whether Bisexual or Pansexual he's never officially stated- but he at the least is a member of the community.
