Images with watermarks
This category is part of the Graphics Lab which helps improve all graphical content stored on Wikimedia Commons and the English Wikipedia.
Captions should be removed as losslessly as possible. Cropping is generally best and most efficient when the caption is located at the top or bottom of a picture, but in some cases cloning is necessary to maintain parts of the image. This should still not be done unless the text is within the image itself and not located on a border or along an edge.
Caution: Before removing a watermark from a copyrighted image, please read the WMF's analysis of the legal ramifications of doing so.
