Cat Cubie

Cat Cubie (born 1981) is a Scottish broadcaster, radio presenter, podcaster, author, and keynote speaker, known for her work on Heart Scotland and her award-winning parenting podcast and book, The Sleep Mums.[1]

Career

Television

Cubie began her career in television, presenting programmes for the BBC including Euromillions draws on BBC1,[2] BBC Weather and CBBC. She was also a presenter for MTV News and hosted film specials for Channel 4, The Surgery on BBC Switch and a number of live music shows, including The Next Big Thing and Live and Unsigned.[3][4]

Radio

She has presented radio programmes for BBC Scotland and Real Radio before joining Heart Scotland, where she currently hosts the weekday afternoon show between 1pm and 4pm.[5]

Podcasting and Publishing

During the COVID-19 lockdown, Cubie created The Sleep Mums podcast. The show won awards and offered non-judgemental, humorous, and practical advice to parents.[6][7] Its success led to a parenting book published by HarperCollins, Sleep Better, Baby: The Essential Stress-Free Guide to Sleep for You and Your Baby, which became a bestseller.

Building on her career in broadcasting and authorship, Cubie also delivers keynote talks and workshops on confidence, imposter syndrome, and resilience.
