Caligosexuality is a sexual orientation on the asexual spectrum,[1] defined as experiencing very weak or vague, almost nonexistent sexual attraction, which can be metaphorically be compared to a vapor/mist/fog. Caligoromanticism has the same definition, but is geared towards romantic rather than sexual attraction, therefore it is on the aromantic spectrum.
It has been described as "somewhere between gray asexual and strictly asexual."[2]
Flag
[edit]The caligosexual pride flag was created by Tumblr user terribledactyl and the term was also coined by them in 2016. The muted colors are used to represent the mist. The triangle uses the asexual flag colors but with a muted bottom stripe.[3]
