Bredstedt (German pronunciation: [ˈbʁeːtˌʃtɛt] ^ⓘ; Low German: Bredstedt; Danish: Bredsted; North Frisian: Bräist) is a town in the district of Nordfriesland, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated near the North Sea coast, approximately 20 km northwest of Husum.
