Abolfazl Zandi (Persian: ابوالفضل زندی) is an Iranian taekwondo practitioner. He won a gold medal at the 2025 World Taekwondo Championships.
Career
[edit]Zandi competed at the 2022 World Taekwondo Junior Championships and won a gold medal in the 48 kg category. He competed at the 2024 Asian Taekwondo Championships and won a bronze medal in the 58 kg category.[1][2]
In October 2025, he competed at the 2025 World Taekwondo Championships and won a gold medal in the 58 kg category, defeating Georgii Gurtsiev in the finals.[3] This was Iran's first gold medal at the World Taekwondo Championships in this category since Farzan Ashourzadeh in 2015.[4]
