History

[edit]ASUS launched the ProArt series in 2011 with the PA246Q, a 24-inch P-IPS monitor designed for content creators with a focus on high color fidelity.[3][2] Subsequent display releases included the PQ321 in 2013[16] and the 32-inch quantum dot PA329Q in 2015.[17][18] The line later introduced OLED technology with the portable PQ22UC in 2018.[19][20][21]
In 2020, the PA32UCG was released, a model featuring Mini LED backlighting, HDR-1600 certification, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Reviewer frequently noted this model for its suitability in HDR mastering and post-production.[22][23]
Expansion into laptops and components (2019–present)
[edit]The ProArt brand expanded into the laptop segment starting in 2019. ASUS introduced the StudioBook series, including models such as the ProArt Studiobook One and the ProArt Studiobook Pro X, offering a range of laptops for professional creatives.[24][25][26]
In 2023, ASUS extended the ProArt series beyond displays and laptops into PC components, including motherboards, graphics cards,[27] AiO liquid coolers,[28] and chassis.[29] These components are marketed with an emphasis on thermal management, low acoustic output, and professional aesthetic designs.
Industry collaboration

Laptop
[edit]The ProArt Studiobook is a series of mobile workstations developed by ASUS, primarily targeted at creative professionals in fields such as photography, animation, filmmaking, visual effects, game design, and architecture.[33][34]
The series incorporates hardware configurations that including NVIDIA Quadro or GeForce RTX graphics cards, ISV (Independent Software Vendor) certification for compatibility with professional applications,[35][36] and OLED displays offering high color accuracy (often quoted with specific Delta E values).[37]
Many models in the Studiobook line are certified to meet US military-grade MIL-STD 810 durability standards, which indicates resilience against specific environmental and physical stress tests.[38]
The laptops include physical interfaces such as the ASUS Dial, a rotary controller integrated into the chassis, and the ProArt Creator Hub software, which allows users to monitor system performance and customize controls for creative applications like those in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.[37][39][40][10]
In recent generations, the laptops have included AI-powered applications such as MuseTree (a visual ideation tool)[41] and StoryCube (a media management platform),[42] which are pre-bundled with the devices.[43]
2019 : The ProArt Studiobook series was first introduced in 2019 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), with the lineup marketed towards creative professionals.[25][44] Later that year, at IFA Berlin, ASUS expanded the range by launching the ProArt Studiobook One and the ProArt Studiobook Pro X.[25] The Studiobook One was noted by the company for being the first laptop to feature NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 graphics. The releases were described by the media as establishing a more complete portfolio of creator-focused laptops.[45]
2021 : ASUS updated the ProArt Studiobook series, introducing features such as OLED displays, the ASUS Dial hardware controller, and the ProArt Creator Hub system monitoring and customization software.[46][47] These models also received NVIDIA Studio validation which addresses software compatibility and system stability across creative applications.[48]
2023 : The ASUS ProArt StudioBook 16 H500 was described by reviewers as a powerful professional notebook due to its integration of a 10-bit OLED display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics.[49][48]
2024 : ASUS introduced a new generation of ProArt laptops, including the ProArt P16,[42] PX13,[50] and PZ13,[51] which incorporate AI features designed for content creation workflows. These models include proprietary software applications such as MuseTree and StoryCube, which are utilized for visual ideation and media management, respectively.
Awards:The ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED has received multiple international design accolades, including the iF Design Award,[52] Red Dot Award,[53] Good Design Award,[54] and recognition as a 2023 IDEA Award finalist.[55] These awards acknowledge its design, which incorporates an immersive 3D display and features tailored for creators.

2019: ASUS introduced the ProArt Station D940MX at IFA 2019—a compact 8L desktop with 9th Gen Intel Core CPUs, NVIDIA Quadro graphics, dual-sided motherboard layout, and LED indicators designed for creative studio environments.[57]
2021: ASUS released the ProArt Station PD5 desktop in 2021 featuring 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000/A2000 graphics, Lumiwiz LEDs, multi-zone cooling, and ISV certification. Intended for use in creative production workflows.[56]
2023: ASUS launched the refreshed ProArt Station PD5, a full-tower desktop with 13th Gen Intel Core CPUs, NVIDIA RTX graphics, Lumiwiz status LEDs, multi-zone cooling, and ProArt Creator Hub to support content creation workflows.[58]

Graphics Cards

Display
[edit]ProArt Display is a line of professional monitors by ASUS, designed for content creators. Since the launch of the first ProArt display, PA246Q, in 2011, the series has featured color accuracy and performance.[80] Each display is factory-calibrated to ensure color accuracy (Delta E < 1),[81] and the series includes color management software such as ProArt Calibration,[82] Color Center,[83] Creator Hub, and ASUS DisplayWidget Center.[84]
The ProArt Display series also includes the world's first 32-inch 4K monitor to support Dolby Vision™, which provides HDR visuals with industry-standard certification for cinematic color grading and video mastering.[85]
The product line includes sizes from portable 14-inch models to 32-inch displays, with resolutions including 4K, 5K, 6K, and 8K. 2024: The ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX is the world's first 8K HDR mini LED professional monitor. It features 4032-zone mini LED backlighting, a built-in motorized colorimeter, 98% DCI-P3 coverage with Delta E < 1 accuracy, and supports Thunderbolt 4 with 96 W power delivery.[94]
